So, you’re probably wondering why I chose a snail for my logo – let me explain…

Finding a symbol or logo that “sums up” what you’re all about isn’t easy.  I obviously was looking for something that conveyed “small simple and slow” but also encompasses my love for travel and home.  The snail is small and slow but where does the “simple” come into play?  I thought about turtles for a while, since they are slow and simple, but they are not always small – you see my dilemma.

After pitching numerous ideas and logos to many of my friends, one had this to say:

The snail is indeed small and slow and it’s also simple because it always carries its house with him, therefore he’s always at home while traveling – that’s perfect for me and this blog 🙂
